SPORTS IN NATURE
Walking and cycling
Signposted routes lead you through the flat landscape, along winding brooks and charming villages. You can stop here and there for a delicious local speciality and a traditionally brewed beer. Or you can put together your own bicycle route.
Horseback riding
Horseback riding in the dunes, on the beach or in the fields is the dream of many equestrians. Here, you can make your dreams come true! Alone or in a group, this is enjoying nature at its finest. Human, animal and nature become one.

And for those who love to keep their eye on the (smaller) ball, there is something here for everyone. Golfers can swing to their heart’s content on the golf courses in Koksijde or Ypres. Tennis is also available at various locations in the coastal cities.

The countless military cemeteries and old trenches located in the middle of Flanders Fields and Diksmuide, with its Yser Tower, are the silent witnesses of “The Great War”.
